Don’t see it happening. I think Obama is in a lot of trouble judging by how many ‘polls’ the democrats are putting out there. I would even be so bold to say that if an Honest pollster polled New Jersey R&R would be within 2 or 3 percentage points.

I don’t see how. People will have to decide in huge numbers to change their minds abut Obama. Unless Romney and Ryan really made huge errors, they will win. Obama can’t get above 45% and we are now less than 3 months from election day.

Rove is giving Obama states here he sites at 45-46% because he might be ahead of Romney a few. These are states Romney is likely to win.

After you remove ‘what seem to be safe states’ for Obama and Romney you are left with Obama-201 Romney-191

The states below will decide the election. These are all states Obama won in 08.

State Poll date sample data EV

Michigan 7/23/12 500LV Obama-48 Romney-42 16

Iowa 8/8/12 500LV Romney-46 Obama-44 6

Nevada 7/24/12 500LV Obama- 50 Romnay-45 6

Wisconsin 7/25/12 500LV Obama-49 Romnay-46 10

Colorado 8/6/12 500LV Obama-47 Romney-47 9

Penn. 7/18/12 500LV Obama-48 Romney-44 20

N. Car 8/1/12 500LV Romney-49 Obama-44 15

Virginia 8/7/12 500LV Obama-48 Romney-46 13

New Ham 6/20/12 500LV Obama-48 Romney-43 4

Florida 7/9/12 500LV Romney-46 Obama-45 29

Ohio 7/18/12 500LV Obama-47 Romney-45 18

Total of toss ups 146

R&R will take Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, & Colorado. I can see Michigan and Pennsylvania also turning red. High probability of that happening and if so, shows over call in the moving vans.

Indeed.
ObamaCare survived the Supreme Court against all odds.

Watch the gatekeepers.
Electors are not legally obligated.
He need only buy a couple dozen votes.
The Chicago Way is good at that.
Especially with a bottomless checking account and a baseball bat.

I think its a big job to unseat a tyrant....first you have your regular pinkos and slackers and govt workers and your lazy no good welfare cheats, and then you have "conservative" voters not voting or voting for the all powerful third party....

can't wait to read all their complaints if obamey wins....all their angst over "if" only the pubs had listened to "them".....

Yes. Back in 2004, libs were flabbergasted and flipping out because it was practically a shoe in considering how much everyone supposedly hated Bush.

We have to be careful this go ‘round.

I really thInk people need to get ready for Obama winning.

My (conservative) husband is driving me nuts... he's convinced that Romney/Ryan have maybe a 30% chance to win the election. He cites InTrade predictions, etc. Although he likes Ryan, he's certain that Obama will win in November anyway.

I'm not as pessimistic... right now I see the race as 50-50. It can go either way. Too early to predict, IMO...

Some moderate Republican friends/family members of ours (ugh, yeah, I know) like Ryan but thinks he's the wrong pick to win vs. Obama/Biden. They are certain the Obama Attack Machine will successfully spew their lies, and Florida (in particular) and other swing states like WI, IA, PA, etc. will go to Obama - because "seniors will be scared" that Romney/Ryan will negatively affect their financial well-being.

To that I say: Good grief... what don't seniors (or anyone) understand when they hear: "If you're 55 or older, you won't be affected at all."

What say you, FReepers?
