You leave me little choice. ;-)
Easy. The aliquant component of the equation is voter fraud.
i see you wrestling with yourself at times over whether you should let that PEDANT out or not.
Indeed.
He has to let his freak flag fly.
david crosby. see i know some things ; )
Just heard it yesterday, Almost Cut my Hair. it was bumper music on John Gibson’s radio show.
We need more of those stories to be published. Unfortunately, TSU is not a good school and is always in trouble for being unable to maintain strong academic programs. BTW, trivia fact, that’s where Reese Witherspoon’s mom teaches. It’s 99% black.
Doubtful someone from his environment could have gotten in anywhere else, so it’s good for him and being there is far better than being in his neighborhood here. That is interesting about Reese Witherspoon’s mom. xsteen loves her.
just got notice from xsbaby’s HS about their first week of school teambuilding BS that they do. it involves a 3 hour drive to Harrisonburg, VA, for an overnight trip. She is going to bow out of that one yet again. I will not insist that she do something that i would never in a million years want to do and for which i see ZERO value. so her first week of school will be abbreviated.
Agreed, any schooling is better than hanging out. I’m glad xsbaby is opting out and not just following the crowd. I see no reason for teambuilding nonsense either. It’s a small enough school where they probably all know each other anyway. It would make more sense for a really big school to break kids into smaller groups and make them feel like they belong, the way big churches do.
exactly, this will be the fourth consecutive year of her not going, and precisely because, as you said, they all know each other anyway. it’s an expensive boondoggle, which we are paying for in the exorbitant tuition, whether she goes or not. There will be a senior trip which i am fairly certain that she will want to do, late in the year. Most of the private schools down here do this teambuilding horsecrap and i just do not see the need for it.
Every year? That’s ludicrous. As “freshman orientation” it’s bad enough. I didn’t go when I started college. It cost extra and I saw no need for it.
Some workshops we have even today try to do some “icebreaking” team building nonsense.
I doubled my money on the Powerball last night.
Spent $2. Won $4. Woo hoo!
teambuilding is crap. period. if i had to go anywhere with this group i work with and do that kind of thing, i’d open my veins.
isn’t megamillions up next? i know NOTHING about playing the lottery but heard about this on the radio on the way in.
