David “Davey” John Warsen, 27, who grew up in the Grand Rapids area, was among seven Americans who died in a Black Hawk helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan on Aug. 16, according to Harold Voorhees, his great-uncle. Warsen’s fiancee was notified of his death in San Diego, where they lived before his deployment.
Someone was carrying around a loaded M4 and they put the base on alert. No harm done, thank God. No other details, so I’m sure there won’t be any news on this.
