I don’t know what legitimate rape is, and neither do you, but I know gang rape when I see it. That is what Freeperdom, the GOP-E and even the Tea Party engage in when one of our own makes an incoherent, marble mouthed statement of no substance.
Armchair patriots wonder why conservatives are reluctant to enter the national fray and fight. The answer is on display when another conservative is tossed to the Marxist wolves for . . . what? This silly Akin imbroglio is part and parcel of what we allowed to happen to other good guys who stubbed their rhetorical toes in an unguarded moment. Did it occur to any of the Freeper Ninjas that Zero’s pathetic weakness was on display yesterday when he held his first formatted, scripted presser in months to take a question about Akin? Do our cause some good, and line up behind Hussein for perverted fun, not Akin.
The same Freepers wailing on Akin to get lost are among the first to complain about our cojone-less Speaker of the House. Why would anyone stand and fight the big battles when he looks around to find his soldiers running away from skirmishes?
Finally, consider the upcoming, breathtaking hypocrisy that will occur in a couple weeks at the rat national convention. The very media in high dudgeon over a nonsensical term from a conservative, will embrace the keynote speaker, the impeached and unindicted rapist BJ Clinton.

It would have been so easy for Akin to make his views known while avoiding controversy. He should have said something like “I support life, no matter how conceived.”
Even if Akin survives this, it’s not the first stupid comment he has made that has wound up in a McCaskill campaign ad. And it won’t be the last. He is his own worst enemy and the best asset the McCaskill campaign has.
I do not believe Akin was over confident, but after last week’s Bidenisms and all the polls we have been seeing, it was easy for Repubs to begin to feel comfortable with the election situation. This has brought us back to reality and each one must focus totally as the days unfold.

When someone is a complete moron having made a serious of dumb moves like Akin has done, it does not matter whether they are conservative or not.
Such idiots do not deserve to be in politics whether is Weiner or Akin.

You don’t have to join anything. He’s stepping down anyway, because it’s the right thing to do. It’s also the right to call him out on stupid thing he said. Inexcuseable. Why give the left a major talking point. Yeah it sucks, but it is reality.
Sure you can say he should “do this” or “do that” and it will “prove to everyone that he is right”, but just as easily the Dems will counter and they will win this. The only way to save a chance at the senate seat will be for him to leave. Which he is. Good on him.

One of the key differences between us and the liberals is they close ranks when one of theirs says or does something stupid. You don’t hear a peep against a leftist offender from the liberals until its clear the story won’t die. The cynic in me says the liberals don’t attack each other until they feel they can gain votes by doing so.
We hold those on our side to a standard. When one of them dips below that standard, like Akin here, we hold them accountable.
It may seem like a circular firing squad to you but I think its the right thing to do. I prefer have my representatives think before they speak and act knowing they will be held to account for what they say and do rather than be governed by idiots who are protected from the consequences of their speech and actions by circled political wagons
