The casino would rather that the lawyers (Their share holders) get the winnings than their patrons. Win or loose the patrons don’t end up with the winnings.

Sorry, but I must demur. I will be very surprised if the case against the players is not dismissed in a Summary Judgment; in which case they will spend very little on legal fees.
