Sorry to hear that — how old was he???
At least he recieved the love and care he so very much needed towards the end of his life.
Holy cow, you weren’t kidding about the Kleenex. So glad some kind people gave him some comfort at the end.
He was a stray, doubtful it was known. He aged prematurely anyway so it’s impossible to tell.
Well he strayed into the right hands. Love the flower.
True compassion would be euthanasia as fast as possible.
God bless the people who gave him a pack to be with at the end.
Just got back from the vet hospital. Laid on the floor for an hour with a very sick lab. She got into her own medicine and over self medicated. Shes a big goofy girl, not the smartest dog in the world, but she loves her family. What a special animal that we have grown in partnership with over how many thousand years... I still marvel at the relationship almost every time I look at a dog. My girl’s chances right now are 60/40, was 50/50 last night. Both my labs are rescues, wish I could give more of them a happy life.
Hope your girl recovers fully.
Heartbreaking.
We own a rescued Mini-dachs. A truly FABULOUS dog, and we’ve owned several. Thanks to the folks that helped this one pass with love and dignity.
