Fair enough... At least you don’t dismiss the First Amendment generally.
So, down to specifics:
“The offenses, as they are described in the lawsuit, state that a video taken at the concert apparently showed Madonna stepping on an Orthodox cross and asking her screaming fans to lift their hands and wave the pink armbands in support of gays and lesbians that were distributed among the audience, according to reports from RIA Novosti.”
Is “lift their hands and wave pink armbands in support of gays and lesbians” sufficient to jail someone? It’s hardly the corruption of minors examples you gave.
As we proceed to discuss, please know that I’m trying to be able to draw a fine line between legitimate speech which Putin quashes generally, and truly harmful sexualization of minors. Putin is showing himself an anti-speech dictator in several venues (see Pussy Riot, Gary Kasparov, dead journalists, etc.)
I don’t mind law that addresses specifically and deeply harmful acts. But raising arm bands is hardly one of those acts.
The armbands are to show unity with the political movement of the homosexual agenda. NAZI armbands are verboten, the Lavender Mafia or Gaystapo’s bands aren’t much different. They aren’t weapons but they represent an evil ideology.
