Go over your ignorant supervisor's head.
How can Michelle Obama make a law?
Tell her to put the milk to the front.
First, MO can’t make laws.
Second, that sounds more like something that would be done by a nanny administration.
Third, sounds like the kind of BS you would get in chain emails. I could find no reference at all in several various google searches.
My son teaches middle school. Yesterday for lunch, the kids got served eggs and a nasty ‘’sausage’’ made from vegetables or tofu or a combination. They couldn’t figure it out. The kids were not happy. He also said they are indeed being required to take a vegetable, which they throw away. They still have chocolate milk, but it is being discouraged. I’ll ask him if they are hiding it.
Isn’t it racist to make the chocolate milk sit in the rear of the milk cooler?
“Where can I find out if something is a “law”?
You can’t; I doubt if even most lawyers - or, for that matter, most legislators - could.
As a result, we’e all lawbreakers now.
But, of course, that’s why we need such a huge government bureaucracy - to enforce the law and to make new laws to enforce.
Fortunately we have sufficient lawmakers to see that it’s all possible; the money, privileges, power, and perks have nothing to do with it.
Really.
Is this for real? The dark ones have to sit in back?
This sounds like nonsense. Michelle can’t make laws, she can’t even direct rules or even guidelines for schools.
Take it from a 1st grader.

A real, nonpartisan nutritionist would recommend putting the chocolate next to the white, or God forbid, strawberry milk. At least then the kids will drink some milk. For years pediatricians talked about “milk fat babies” then quietly changed their tune when they realized that whole milk was better for older kids, but not a substitute for breast milk. My daughter would never drink anything but whole milk. She couldn’t stand the low fat. On occasion when she hasn’t been drinking milk for a while, I’ve brought home chocolate. Red Robin, Shake Shack, Moosechelle is hell bent on kids growing up with eating disorders and compromised immune systems because they’re throwing their lunch away every day. Are there no sane, nutritionists to speak out against this. I’ve only had one nutrition class in college, but this crap makes my head want to explode.
Of course we know Michelle can’t make laws, but she has put her weight behind getting the school lunch program changed. My daughter works in the local school system and she was telling me today how bad the kids were saying the lunches were.
It stinks to be the smallest kid in the class.
Basically, when an Obama speaks, unions listen. This is something parents are going to have to tackle.
They’re also taking salt out of the french fries at the ball parks because of her.
Yech!
Thanks to google, I found this:
http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-01-26/pdf/2012-1010.pdf
These are pages of the Federal Register dealing with changes to school lunch regulations beginning July 1, 2012.
On page 4095 of the above document, I found this paragraph: "This final rule allows flavor in fat-free milk only, and fat-free and low-fat choices only (consistent with Dietary Guidelines recommendations and the NSLA as amended by the HHFKA). Flavored lowfat (1 percent or 1⁄2 percent) milk is not allowed in the NSLP or the SBP upon implementation of the rule in SY 2012 2013 because it contributes added sugars and fat to the meal and would make it more difficult for schools to offer meals that meet the limits on calories and saturated fat. We anticipate that the new calorie limits will lead menu planners to select milk with the lowest levels of added sugar. Implementing calorie maximums gives menu planners more flexibility than limiting added sugar."
I just skimmed through the document, I didn't read the whole thing. I doubt it recommends pushing the chocolate milk to the back of the refrigerator. However, these regulations are discouraging chocolate milk in school lunches.
Just addressing the chocolate milk question, per our district’s interpretation of the regulations, flavored milk (chocolate) has to be low fat or fat free.
Did Michelle REALLY push through a regulation/advice to put the chocolate milks in the back of the cooler?
Former Mayon Nagin ain’t gonna be happy.
Wooky’s law: Nothing is permitted unless it is specifically authorized. If you want to do it, you must ask permission. Your rights come from the government, and only the government, and then only the government when the Democrats are in office. All laws passed in a Republican held office are merely to be deemed uneducated suggestions and are not to be followed.
The chocolate milk must stay in the back of the bus...
