20,000 Russian commandos again’st 20 million deer hunters and other avid shootists with assault rifles and plenty of attitude.
Let me get this straight. The commandos take out all 535 corruptocrats then all we have to do is take them out. Viola’ we have the country back.
Hmmmmm!

I normally find Rick Wiles very level headed, but this may be tinfoil hat stuff. For the last year I've downloaded his daily news show to my mp3 player for listening on my commute to/from work. I've noticed he does have tendencies to spin off track into conspiracyland speculations every once in a while, and I think it hurts the credibility and honest intent of his daily news show. With that said, as crazier as the world seems to be getting by the day, if anyone compiles and digests all the sources of info he uses to produce his show, I'd bet we'd all be prone to spinning off into conspiracyland in our discussions from time to time. With the current commie muzzie running the show from the White House, anything is possible IMO.

o. I come from a law enforcement family and that is simply not true. Others here have also pointed out that while they are required to be certified every year or two, their range time is on their own dime and time. Local LEs can't afford giving their employees that much ammo. Even the state doesn't. The state's certification consists of having the class go out on the range one afternoon every couple years where they practice a few minutes and then take turns qualifying on two weapons. It's mostly sit down and wait your turn and then leave early when you're finished.
Around here the standard is between 100 - 200 rds per month minimum, depending upon which agency you look at.
That is on top of about 5,000-10,000 rds to train a new guy.
If .gov envisions a big push to train new agents basic math shows they are going to go through a bunch of ammo pretty quick. Another big ammo drain is stockpiling. The Government loves to maintain stores of ammo and most of the stores were depleted during the ammo shortage so a lot of that is going to go into a black hole warehouse.

As described, the disruption could be effective but brief. Some Congresscritter would be recognized as next in line, would assume temporary role of POTUS with military backing, appoint occupants of all empty seats, initiate elections (which are operated by the states), and within a few months be back to normal. In the meantime, the entire bureaucratic structure would remain intact and functional.Thanks. You're right, especially with regard to the bureaucracy. It didn't occur to me that the bureaucratic State, underneath a legitimate Legislature, is an effective countermeasure to that strategem.

I come from a law enforcement family... Question please, for my own understanding. Does law enforcement typically use hollow point ammo for training purposes?

“The Communists have said for a whole century that America would fall because of its fall into an immoral culture.”
And Russian culture is not immoral? They would confuse the stench and social rot that is Washington DC, Hollywood and inner city America with the rest of the nation.
They do so at their own peril.

I used to live near Gloucester, Mass, where that story took place. Alan Arkin is a highly under-appreciated actor. If you remember him from The In-Laws (with Peter Falk) you'll know what I mean.

So let them invade and take over California. I’d be willing to extend foreign aid to them if they did that for us ...

It can’t be done. We’d send out a Texas Ranger to deal with it. We have a tradition saying, “one riot, one ranger”.
