I can't speak for their computers, but every Samsung product I have bought: HDTV, Home Theater, and cell phone, have all had problems within a year after purchase.

I have a Samsung 42" LCD TV that I purchased in November of 2003 (I remember buying it two days before Thanksgiving when my old 35" picture tube tv that weighted a million pounds finally gave out, and I needed a TV for family coming to visit over the holiday.)

That Samsung TV is still in the same corner of my family room, working just fine. ZERO problems.

Come to think of it, the Samsung HDD's in my computer's are all still working fine too. I've replaced a number of Seagate's and WD's over the years, these Samsung SpinPoint drives just keep on chugging.
