I don’t know any specifics but we have them in Galveston. Good looking young people that work in restaurants as waitresses etc.
A few months ago I did do a search online about this and did find information. It turned out to be a summertime program to help with staffing shortfalls and gives the “kids” a taste of America.
They all tend to look like 18-20 year olds.
Used to be that American college students took Summer jobs to help pay for their educations. For some crazy reason I guess crushing student debt is now preferable.
Seriously, temporary visa people will soon be staffing hospitals, clinics and doctor's offices.
These people look older than 20, maybe 25-35, but I am not the best at guessing ages. And I don’t think it was a getting to know us but she said it was a work visa to help them stay here.
