The more replies I’m getting, the more I’m realizing that several posters are correct. I’m talking about Texas Democrats. I can likewise see a New York Democrat saying that he rarely meets Republicans that fit the media stereotype, as Republicans in NY seem to be more liberal than their brethren in the rest of the country.
I think this question has been answered for me.
The liberals in Congress and the Whitehouse aren’t mythical. Those are the ones we should be worried about. The rest is pure nonsense and just another silly diversion.

Um, Texas liberals outside of Austin and Houston would be considered right-wing radicals by California, New York, and other blue state liberals. It is a shame that your wife doesn’t understand that and will vote for obastard. But trust me, outside of Texas and a few other Southern states, liberals are “anti-gun for everyone BUT THEMSELVES.” And for them it really is “all about the desire for power over others.”
