If I gave you any specific information, I wouldn’t have to kill you, but the mods here would likely Zot me, and probably ban you as well.

can be learned at a popular site I can not name or link to here, hosted by a famous man I cannot name here. I bet he broadcasts from a location in FEMA Region 6.

We had 6 tracks in jr high, 1 through 6 with 1 being the smartest kids. They used a similar system in NYC grade schools, but when I was in 5th grade, they decided there was a stigma involved, so they assigned class numbers randomly. Since practically all of the "smart" kids had been in 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, and 4-1 together, sticking them (okay, sticking "us") in class 5-3, while putting the future democrats who had previously been in 1-6, 2-6, 3-6, and 4-6 into 5-1 really didn't fool anybody. An early attempt at political correctness, way back in 1958.

i think they did away with the tracks in my pub school also for the same reason. it’s amazing they let this gifted and talented stuff go on today because what does that do to the self esteem of the ungifted and untalented? I guess because i live in a hypercompetitive world where everyone competes through their kids [and OY the christmas letters that demonstrate that!] the whole idea of it seems like more ammo for people to use to brag about their kids.

Hanson is on fire, as usual.
Obama boasted further that he would cut the deficit by half during his first term, and asserted that he would rather be a successful president than a two-term one.
If he were a successful president, he would be a two-term one.

Nemesis, remember, is not just karma, but payback with an absurd twist. Awesome.

I’m not sure one can use “OY” and “Christmas letters” in the same sentence, but virtually all of those brag sheets that come to Casa de Truthy end up unread.

I'm sorry, that's Gran Torino. Gran Torino.

You sound like you’re complaining. It’s good that these things exist.
My daughter was sick and tired of the pace and repetition in some of her previous classes.
To: SoothingDave
i really don’t think you get the same sort of christmas letters that we do, or you would understand.
