Not a bad effort. But let's tap the brakes on the Loins a bit. Loins would have to get past slightly better teams in GB, Chicago, Philly and SF. I'd say SF is the NFC favorite and the Texans I agree with, but watch out for the Ravens.

Dallas has elite skill guys in place but their OL and DL are sub par, and that makes all the difference. It's not just their talent level on the OL; they have no chemistry yet--with new guys on board and old guys in new positions--which is crucial for that unit. Thin at backup. Now the Giants and Eagles were very effective rushing the passer last year and they are healthier as well as improved, so you see why this concerns me.

On the DL Dallas relies too much on Ware and other LBs for their own QB pressure. Unless Crawford/Ratliff/Hatcher step up they will not get the rush they could have otherwise with just a little help. Depth poor here also. Dallas has a chance if they can remain healthy and get some breaks early as they build unit cohesion on the OL.

Could the Eli pull another div title out of his hat? I've discounted him too many times to set aside the possibility, but that NY team was no better than a handful of others in the NFC and at the end of the year and not as good as Philly. I don't see any great advantages in their court.

Failing something totally unforeseen I think the damn Eagles might just win the division. That's just unjust.
