If it is confirmation that the Aztecs practiced human sacrifice on a large scale and engaged in cannibalism, these are rather commonly known facts until the left decided that this bit of history would damage the self-esteem of “indigenous peoples”. The Mexican government today actively tries to suppress discussion of this and is aided by “court” academics.
For references, start with Prescott’s Conquest of Mexico. Nothing much more recent is as honest. Cortez’s letters from Mexico can be found easily and are a primary source. Bernal Diaz de Castillo is another easy to find eye-witness source.
