In a temperature controlled room with a raised floor and a big red Halon button?
Nothing is wrong with wearing hiking boots and plaid shirts. Absolutely nothing.
When you have a flat, do you change all four tires? ;)

Yeah, what’s wrong with that!? I’ve done both. I think I may have even worn both to work at the same time. Hiking boots are by definition comfortable and supportive. The “rugged individualist” look works. ‘round these parts for a fair span of the year you never know when you leave work if it will be rain, shine, or snow when you hike out to your car.

I can't, if you didn't live the adventure of dinosaur pens, frobbing the Big Red Button, and dealing with factory reps with yellow wires.

Or a combination of z/VM, z/Linux, and z/OS for older legacy code.
There are still billions and billions of lines of Cobol code out there printing power company bills, etc. month after month after month...
The rock solid reliability of z/OS is unsurpassed.
And the security is just as strong!

May well be. Once upon a time, my resume was traded around like a well-worn Mickey Mantle baseball card.

To: JRandomFreeper
Funny. Probably. I had file drawers full of resumes and indexed boxes full of people.
Made some people more monies. Made me some too. You guys were easier to trade than Micky Mantles.
Was like herding cats, though.
I traded in CADCAM naval architects for fun in my spare time.
