Ending was sobering. The map of ‘United Islamic States’ turned my stomach.

That would be the Caliphate, under its own nuclear umbrella.

I saw it at a matinee this afternoon; theater was 1/4 full (not bad for a matinee on a holiday weekend in Minneapolis).

Tremendous production details; I loved the way they established the author as

a) a fellow victim (Indian, as in helpdesk

b) Ivy League grad

They used a mixture of historical data, on-camera interviews with experts (New York University, University of Hawaii, family members) as well as voice-overs from Obama reading from Dreams From My Father to establish the point.

And then only with say 10-15 minutes to go did they go into his extreme radicalism, and only the last 5 minutes did they get into the stomach-churning predictions. All illustrated graphically as befits a film presentation.

And -- as befits marketing -- the film ends with an appeal to the viewer: "It depends on YOU" and the closing image: Love Him or Hate Him, Now You Know Him.

A+, five stars.

I don’t think he defended himself when Jake Tapper called he work “unscholarly” at all.

I had the opposite take: d'Souza was taking advantage of a psychological ploy that the libs have used for decades.

That is, if you talk to someone authoritatively about a topic, and they havent' been exposed to it before, you *become* the voice of reason and clarity.

The film had a solid hour of biographical facts presented as a documentary where the audience is discovering along with d'Souza, so they are predisposed to take his side.

Then the film shows a brief montage / vignette of the talking heads discussing among themselves how they don't know anything of Obama's world view, followed by the obligatory name-calling towards d'Souza.

It showed them up as frauds and bullies, trying desperately to pin *some* code-word label on d'Souza because they were not informed enough to challenge him on the facts.

Using their own "strength" against them.

Cheers!

Again, using the memes of the left against them.

You can't attack womyn, but men SUCK.

...and it ties in with the title of the book, and uses Obama's implicit "help me help me I'm a poor hopeless orphan just like in Dickens, except I'm BLACK you racist!" card against him.

Cheers!

The film *did* say so, on the grounds of unilateral nuclear disarmament, as well as destroying the economy through Cloward-Pivening our national debt.

Cheers!

Saw it Saturday and appreciated the tying of everything together. Dinesh came off as very credible and methodical in his research and approach to the narrative. Said it before but will say it again: no independent undecided voter could see it and yet vote for obama. Lots of ah-ha moments as you recognize what has unfolded the last four years amid the backdrop of obama’s revealed influencers and their shared global Marxist revolutionary objectives; and fervently sought by plundering and redistributing our wealth among the poorer nations. (Because it’s only fair; a reparation of sorts) Our economic destruction is no accident or byproduct of incompetence.

....it leaves you with a very disturbing sense of dread about him.

My reaction too. Like others have stated, I already knew most of the information presented, but the movie put the "big picture" together very well. Only the 2nd movie we've attended in about 8 years. Well worth it.

It showed them up as frauds and bullies,

That is so true. But winning over the hearts and minds of the sheeple who get their news from bullies requires fighting back IMHO.

Thinking more about that sense of dread as the film reached its end. The scene we all know, but was shocking to see on the big screen: Obama practically begging Medeved for more time. That he’d have more flexibility after the election.

No one in the media has pursued this. Why is the President of the USA cowering before the Russians? The fact that Tapper, etc care so little about pursuing truth is chilling.

Don't need to pay good money for books and movies that significantly recap what you read here on FR and FoxNews.

Sure you do. Reward people like Dinesh for having the courage to take the risk to produce a film like this.

How about I just continue on doing what I do , helping the homeless, those rag tag individuals you see in shopping centers and elsewhere who arent outright collecting and storing up money w/ a sign in hand. No shower, dirty socks, dirty underwear/clothes, inadequate shoes, even a beer to get em' temporarily out of their doldrums is sometimes a help. Who even if they cleaned up and rehabilitated no one would hire these snaggle toothed hopeless creatures. And you just keep on doing what you do.
