I was writing in your support and to respond, though not by name, to the posters who were ‘affronted’ by the comparison.

I suppose Quakers are also disgusted by the gentlemanly chap on Quaker Oats, that sea-going men are offended by Cap’n Crunch, that the Fightin’ Irish turn green with indignation at the sight of L.C. from Lucky Charms, that San Joaquin hipsters get the blues over the California Raisins, the kids named Mikey DON’T always eat anything....whatta bunchola crappola..
