Butt-ugly numbers on the daily tracking poll. Romney`s starting to get blown off the field (0 leads 49%-45%). 0 is at 52% approve as well.

Who are these citizens who cling to a "redistributionist" and his promises, most of which rely on the doctrines of faith in the teachings of Marx and Lenin--not in the ideas of Creator-endowed life, liberty, rights, and laws to protect them encased in America's Declaration of Independence and implemented in its Constitution?

One cannot believe in those documents and, at the same time, embrace the principles summarized in the following questions:

"1. Does this legislation or idea increase, or decrease, individual freedom and creativity?

"2. Does this legislation or idea increase, or decrease, the power of some citizens over other citizens?

"3. Does this legislation or idea recognize that the persons who will exercise the power are themselves imperfect human beings?

"4. Does this legislation or idea recognize that government is incapable of creating wealth?

"5. Does this legislation or idea authorize taking from some what belongs to them, and giving it to others to whom it does not belong?
If 'thou shalt not steal' is a valid commandment, can we assume that it is meant to apply only to individuals and not to government (which is made up of individuals), even if those persons in power pass laws which sanction such redistribution of the wealth of others?'

"6. Does this legislation or idea encourage, or discourage, the very highest level of morality and responsibility from the individual?
. . .when government makes actions 'legal' by some citizens at the expense of other citizens, the result may be behavior which would not be considered possible by individuals acting alone.

"7. Does this legislation or idea propose that the 'government' do something which the individual cannot do without committing a crime?"

*7 principles drawn from James R. Evans book, "America's Choice," and reprinted in a Stedman Corporation (Asheboro, NC) booklet entitled "I'm Only One, What Can I Do?"

An honest and realistic examination of the current Democrat Party platform and this President's policies and actions should take these principles into account.

I think it is a good thing if Obama stays slightly ahead of Romney in the poles right up to election day.

First I don’t believe the polls, I think Obama is dead in the water, but far too many believe those poles.

Second if the poles show Obama ahead, it will keep people motivated to vote.

I don’t like the thought of voting for Romney, and many other conservatives are thinking the same. If we conservatives start thinking Romney is way ahead, many just might write in a favored candidate, this would not be good.

The bottom line for me is that we got to get Obama out of there, and voting for Romney is the only way to do that, whatever the polls may say.

I thoroughly expect to be flamed for this comment.

I’m not sure PA is in play.

But, these are very encouraging numbers. It is reasonable to suppose the undecideds will break 2/3 for the changer. Such a split would give the advantage to Romney 51 to 49 percent in the battlegrounds.

Add to that the timing of the poll, that it is during the bounce being enjoyed by the Democrats, and maybe we’re talking a Romney advantage of 4 to 6 points (instead of only 2) in the battleground states.

Just remember: Gallup Had Carter Up 4 Points Over Ronald Reagan in September 1980...and up by 8 in October.

Forget the polls...and get out the vote!
