This is surreal. The country is falling apart. Every trip to the gas station or grocery store is a horror show — and we have people out there saying “yeah, give me more”. This man shouldn’t be able to make public appearances without rotten tomatoes being thrown at him and, yet, he’s at 52% approve.

Your post is essentially what I scream from my couch every night. If he were a GOPer he'd be laughed off the stage and wouldn't even have th nerve to run for re-election. Instead he's leading in the polls. It's like upside downo world. The media is much more powerful than we think.

When you put up a Republican Candidate who does not have a core, it is not surprising that 52 percent support reelection of Obama. I blame GOPe, the Romney Fans on here and others for the possible demise of Romney.

Obviously there was something in Obama`s and Clinton`s speeches that gave the American electorate a Chrissy Matthews leg thrill. I don`t know what it was from a content standpoint, but the only theory I can come up with is voters must feel downright “fabulous” inside when they hear either of their voices.
