We’ve put together this infographic that compares the United States’ education spend and performance versus eleven countries. The U.S. is the clear leader in total annual spending, but ranks 9th in Science performance and 10th in Math.

Interesting how the left loves to use statistics such as these to argue that American health care needs reform, but ignores these types of statistics when it comes to one of their own sacred cows - education spending, (not to mention teachers unions).

WOW!! The first two posts after the article set the sides. Absolutely unbelievable. Even so, I don’t believe this this study. The US appears almost competitive in some areas, and that’s ridiculous. Literacy? Give me a break. I wonder how many times other countries’ SATs have been dumbed down or recentered.

I was wondering about that also. Perhaps we only count college graduates (4-year college, that is) when determining our literacy rate.

That would be something that the NEA would insist on.

...and I suspect President Obama’s kids are excellent readers.

How sad that he condemns the rest of his race to such a disastrous system, just for political gain.
