Skip to comments.Obama: "I will stand with the Muslims..."
Posted on 09/13/2012 4:10:23 AM PDT by Bon mots
In his ghost-written (by William Ayers) 'autobiography', "Dreams of My Father", Barack Hussein Obama said,
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction..."
He has already made his move in favor of the Muslims.
The Leftists told us war in Iraq and Afghanistan flamed the passions of the terrorists but defended the Bin Laden assassination and “ spiked the football” as well.
Wait till you feel the political winds of change on Nov 6th!!!
A PAC needs to get an ad out immediately with this statement by obama.
261, IIRC. But, still a guess.
I couldn’t believe it because it really hasn’t been used but according wikianswers:
Yes and no. This is what he actually said:
“. . .
“Whenever I appear before immigrant audiences, I can count on some good-natured ribbing from my staff after my speech; according to them, my remarks always follow a three-part structure: “I am your friend,” “[Fill in the home country] has been a cradle of civilization,” and “You embody the American dream.” They’re right, my message is simple, for what I’ve come to understand is that my mere presence before these newly minted Americans serves notice that they matter, that they are voters critical to my success and full-fledged citizens deserving of respect.
“Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” [Page 260-261] . . . “
Pretty clear tome......in his own words...he’ll stand with the MUSLIMS.
“Obama: “I will stand with the Muslims...””
Just ask Bibi which side o’ the line little Barry be a-standin’ on!
Sorry, it’s from “Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261].
I for one have no problem with the internments. When you are attacked by a country or a hate cult it is prudent to secure the country by restricting the movements of those aligned with your enemy.
Fortunately for lie-berals, we will never know how many lives were spared by the internment of the Japanese but I can guarantee, lives were saved.
Lives would be saved if we removed all Mudslimes from our shores. They have not achieved the 2012 level of civilization and have given no indication they are progressing. The rest of the world is by no means perfect but progress is a never ending chore of which Mudslimes want no part.
I've updated the image with the correct book and page number.
Thanks for helping!
Can ANYONE doubt that this b*stard is not a muzzie?!!!!!!!!!
FactCheck.org has tried to spin this - don’t forget, it’s owned by Annenberg, Obozo’s old friends, employer and supporter/propagandists.
No matter how they spin this, his words are what appear on my image.
You now have the exact book and page number.
See it for yourself.
Even factcheck.org is trying to spin this in a positive light.
Lots of bravado from the fraud who would be king, but in the end, he will do as he has always done, and bend over for the homosexuals. They are his people. Obama’s Islamic loyalties are nothing more than hatred of white prosperity.
so we will make sure the TSA only harasses American citizens whose profiles indicate they are the least likely to pose a security threat, i.e. grandmothers in wheelchairs and babes in arms.
I can’t stand the Boy King but I cannot sign on to this.
Far be it for me to say anything good about the traitor-in-chief but the selective quote you are using does not have the meaning you seem to imply here. I have researched it and I am satisfied that I’m correct.
Well he’s keeping his word thats for sure.
You are the “ugly direction”.
I must say this is also the failure of the GOP to act and stop this man from becoming president. They did not care and this is the result.
You can’t just make up words and call them a direct quote.
It is called lying, and when you try to send conservatives out to use them in conversation and be humiliated when they are proven to be false, then you are something truly nasty.
Well then, since Obama things he's a big tough guy cause "he killed Osama," and all these new dudes are coming along and shouting that "we are Osama," then it's pretty clear that in order to maintain his chest-thumping tough guy image, he needs to kill all of these new Osamas as well!
I totally agree. It makes conservatives look stupid if you use a false quote like this - with actual quotation marks around it, which is dead wrong. From all indications, the actual quote was "with them" rather than "with the Muslims," leaving you to figure out who "them" is by looking at the statement in context. No doubt it is subject to interpretation, and could easily be argued to be "Arab and Pakistani Americans" rather than the generic "Muslims."
That being said, I have no doubt that he stands with Muslims in his own mind and belief system, simply based upon his many statements and actions. These also indicate that he has a preference for Islam over Christianity from a cultural and political standpoint, although he's obviously a God-less man.
That said...I think he thinks he's a kindred spirit with Muslims..and I think he leans towards them.
We not only lose arguments with fake information, we lose credibility, most of us would feel very humiliated to use false quotes and then have our heads handed to us in front of the audience that we were trying to win to our side.
Most of us just flat can’t lie, or tolerate such a blatant lie.
A thread like this should be removed.
Before I had my coffee this morning I almost used this quote because it looked so clean and straight forward, thankfully I dragged myself back, to do due diligence, and found out that the thread poster had made it up.
So who did he imply he would side with?
You can look it up.
You cannot make up quotes.
Is anyone home in there??
