Unless there is a breaking news story, Drudge usually takes the weekend off.
Most of the images on his site have shown in my browser (FF v12.0) as broken links for several days. Don’t know why. Don’t really care.
One pic is all I’m seeing.
Most of the time, Drudge uses stock photography of people he’s talking about. The photographs are often, if not always not in context with the storyline — The picture of Obama given for a story done today could be a picture from 8 months back.
In otherwods, the picture is meant to convey a feeling thematic to the story line. It is manipulative and visual propaganda so it’a a good thing if Drudge is getting away from this.
I notice Townhall is starting to do this now ... printing non contextual photos based on the emotional direction the story tries to take us.
