That's not true, not "by definition".
Ron Paul is pro-life, as one example. As more, I am not in favor of an open border, and believe immigration laws should be enforced, and also believe in a strong defense.

Freedom isn't the dirty word you are trying to make it out to be. Not the Socialists "freedom", which is the freedom from having to take responsibility for your life... But real freedom to succeed or fail on your own merits.
Not sure why you work so hard against that basic ideal...
