After redistricting, I am now in Michele Bachmann’s district. I will happily fill in the little oval with my black pen. Was that racist? LOL!

I think Michele will win handily here. Her district covers the most conservative counties in the Minnesota metro area. Southwest MN is also reliably conservative, but the population is much smaller.

Ellison will probably be a shoe-in. His district is centered in Minneapolis. Having lived in that liberal h*llhole, I know the sheeple will re-elect him. The people there aren’t that bright. Apologies to any fellow conservatives left in the cesspool.

.is it because so many will hang up on pollsters?.....

Or do not answer the phone at all to unknown callers. I DON'T.

I think many right minded people, simply will not participate. WE have our minds made up and nothing will stop us from voting OBAMA OUT. NOTHING, so why bother with some poll?

It is not even about a R or a D anymore, it is about removing OBAMA from our house. We are just waiting for NOV 6th, it can't come fast enough.

I'd read somewhere's that she might be in trouble. Glad to here she's looking good.

What about Cravaack and Kline..do the new districts make them vulnerable?

Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.

I don't really care for Mitt, but will vote for anyone other than 0 bummer. How anyone can still be undecided at this point is beyond me. Those voters just need to ask themselves if they are better off now than they were four years ago.

While I am fairly certain that even with the media in lock step that the most incompetent moron to ever occupy the office of president could be reelected... I live in the most liberal county in a deep blue state and work in a unionized government job in the second most liberal county. It is easy to get discouraged under those circumstances. I haven't made any doom and gloom posts myself, but I understand why some do.

Sorry I see a typo in my post. It should say:

While I am fairly certain that even with the media in lock step that the most incompetent moron to ever occupy the office of president could never be reelected...

weekend polling

I’ve read that Rasmussen handles weekend polling differently than others.

If I find the link, I’ll shoot it to you.

Romney is leading

True. Better to be ahead than behind, even with the margin of error.

Research does show that if the incumbent is under 50% and behind on the final polls before election that undecideds will break for the challenger.

I think most are standing strong, while “quaking” in their boots and understandably so. People seem to be expressing their doom and gloom out of fear. If that expression of fear motivates just a few more to go out and vote, then its worth it. I share in the gloom too. Its disturbing that Romney isn’t crushing Obama. Its amazing that there aren’t protests in front of the White House and the Capitol Building. Even more disturbing, the National poll shows a crushing disapproval for the House and Senate, yet so many of them will be reelected in November. Why? Simple answer... “Congress stinks, but not my guy”. As for the Romney / Obama race, the liberals are winning because they’ve flipped enough of the population to be dependents of the Federal Government. The entire system will need to crash before that ever changes...there will be no chance of slowly weaning these “Federal Dependents” off the system, because the Republicans will (if they have the balls) make laws to correct the problem, then the liberals will instantly turn around, play the victim and race cards, then the cycle will start all over again... until the “liberal giveaway party” comes to a crushing halt, it will never change. Where are the “doom and gloomers” cry of outrage over the fact that we have become a “Godless” nation.... we’ve gone from a nation that was free to express one’s religious beliefs, always mindful to prevent one religion being ordained by the Government as THE religion, to now a nation that is FREE FROM ANY RELIGION, especially if its a Christian religion? To hear Hillary and Obama criticizing the film maker over the anti-Islam film is sickening. Christian beliefs have been under attack for years, and they say silently or helping it. Look at the protesting in Chicago. Those people don’t deserve ANY raise. They’re disgusting pigs. They should be grateful they have a job.... even more sickening that the City of Chicago would even consider offering a raise of 16% , they should say “hey guys, go pound sand.... no raise this year, or in ANY future years, until the economy allows it, and you people actually start teaching our kids so that the overwhelming majority can pass the proficiency tests. I could really go on rant here.... the entire system needs a complete redo. Its broke beyond just a repair job. More than half this country is stupid.... only 55% voter turnout for Presidential elections and 37% for off-year.... so of the 45% to 64% that fail to vote.... they are ALL stupid, and those that vote for liberals....well, need I say more?

I absolutely agree Romney needs to step up his performance. He needs to say more and do more active campaigning on a daily basis. He is letting the media and the dems set the narrative. The media will spin everything the way they want, but at least say something!

I’m not getting that worked up about the polls right now, but Mitt needs to be more convincing.
