According to my friend who is a political consultant and insider (doesn't work for Romney), there's a lack of R and O signs in most areas because both campaigns are selling the signs instead to increase their small donor base. There are very few Romney signs at the victory centers around here, and not just in my democrat county. There's none in the republican county north of me either.
He also said that the policy is "extremely stupid" and that whoever thought of it on "our side" should in his words "be blacklisted from any campaign again." I agree with him.

I’m usually a poll challenger. If you aren’t afraid of going into the deep blue areas, you can make sure there’s no shenanigans at the polling places. Call your local GOP or state GOP to get training on what to do. Every state is different.
