Really? I lived a good part of my life in State College. I played in second mile golf tournaments. I didn’t know. I knew dozens of football players who didn’t know. I certainly didn’t know anyone else in town, or on campus who knew.
Everyone knew he spent too much time with kids and not enough time coaching, but no one knew he was some sort of pedophile. But you - out in California knew, huh? If you had proof of that, maybe you should have come forward a year or so ago.
See, you don’t have any proof of that at all. It’s just something you heard somewhere - AFTER the fact, and assumed it to be true. Go ahead - you can admit it.
Posters like you and the rest of the haters are as lazy as the media. You all ought to be ashamed.
A new, pivotal finding of the investigation overseen by Louis J. Freeh, the former federal judge and director of the F.B.I., was that Mr. Paterno knew as early as 1998 that there were concerns about Mr. Sanduskys inappropriate behavior with children. It spawned an internal review, which Mr. Freeh said Mr. Paterno followed closely. It was an investigation that Mr. Paterno, through his family after Mr. Sanduskys arrest, previously maintained he knew nothing about.
I also remember an interview with a hairdresser in State College who said that Sandusky's proclivities were well known in town.
Really...just go away...you are not helping Penn State, JoePa or anyone else with this crapola. You sound like the quibblers back in the '90s excusing Clinton.
