You have my respect simply for driving a fully loaded log truck.
In the sixties I used to encounter logging trucks in the Yosemite area, some on the road and others well off if it. White knuckle stuff back then and I doubt it's too much different today.

Also back a few years it wasn't at all rare to be buzzed by a training mission with a couple of minutes to spare.

Actually it was my Uncle driving that particular occasion. I drove them a little when I was younger, but life took me in another direction.

White knuckle is when you have 100,000 pounds of hardwood 3 feet over the rack (with a total legal weight being 80,000) and you are going down an iced hill in the woods and the tire chains will not do squat.

It ages you quick ;)
