"Now if the school is helping kids to have sex or even know they are..."

They're probably handing out the morning-after pills to the girls so they can cover up the fact that they were impregnated by one of the teachers.

you know what I wuld not be surrpised.

To tell a 13 year old girl it;s alright to have sex which is breaking the law and then tell her to kill the child because she can;t respect herself shows how social issues are important and how this cuntry is going to crap.

Surely the school is breaking the law by doing this as the girl who has sex is breaking the law and this is aiding

The program will come to a screeching halt once the lawsuits start getting filed over the pill's side effects.

Find it hard to believe that there are so many Yes votes. Would be interesting to see more info on who voted yes, perhaps the age of voters and whether or not they had kids.

Not only NO, but HELL NO! Birth control pills are a very potent medication, and schools have no business providing them, especially without parental consent.

Used to be a school couldn't even give a child an aspirin or tylenol without the consent of a parent!

I wonder how long it will be before the first lawsuit for a girl getting pregnant while taking the birth control provided her by the school.

Just tell your daughters that BCPs make you fat. They do mess with hormones, and lots of women gain weight, sometimes a lot, when they take them. The kids are so afraid of getting fat that they may think twice about the whole deal, including the premarital sex.

These results are absolutely shocking to me. Kids don’t need to know that they can get BC “without fear.” They need to know that they’re too damn young to be bonking each other. Hang all the teachers who preach sex to our kids at grade- and high-school age. This is incredibly evil and nasty. Children’s bodies and minds are not ready for mature activities, and many of them will be emotionally messed up for life.

Kids need to fear a lot of things. Childhood and teenaged fear keeps a lot of them out of trouble and danger.

Don’t know — Teen pregnancy is a problem, but is this a school issue? 2.15% (2,217 votes)

Yes — Kids need to know they can access birth control without fear. 69.14% (71,257 votes) Who the hell are these people? They’re all nuttier than fruitcakes.

No — This is a parent’s responsibility, not a ‘nanny state’s.’ 28.71% (29,587 votes)

Total Votes: 103,061 <— that “1” is my vote NO!

69.38 to 28.39 Yes? On Fox?! Either something *really* stinks or the DUmmies are in high gear. When I was in school...dang. I cringe just thinking about what my mom would have done. Loudly. Or my friends’ parents.

What is *wrong* with these parents that they treat their kids like some kind of fashion accessory or an afterthought? This is sad.
