Last Night I Cried

Posted on 09/27/2012 8:32:28 AM PDT by SandyLynn

Last night, I gave in and cried. As the Mom of 3 kids, I feel hopeless. The polls show that Obama is winning, whether we try to deny it or not. I keep asking myself "Who are these so-called Americans who will re-elect this disaster we've had in office for almost 4 years?" I am scared. Scared for the lives my children will have to live, thanks to the resident currently occupying the White House. No, I will never call him my president..in my opinion, you have to EARN that title. And the man who currently occupies the White House is much more concerned about being popular with the "in" crowd..you know, the Hollywood Liberals. Who cares that gas prices have tripled since he took office? That food prices have skyrocketed? That most of us who work for a living are struggling from paycheck to paycheck while the lazy people live off of our hard work? Hopeless. I keep going back to that word..because I feel as though we have nowhere to go. And shock. Because I cannot believe we have so many stupid Americans in our country! Don't get me wrong. I will vote, and cast my vote for Romney. But really, is it enough? I don't think so. Fellow FReepers..is all lost, as I think it is?

My high school football coach used to tell us “that no matter what happens on that field tonight 1 billion Red Chinese will still wake up in the morning.” Now there are 1.3 billion Chinese and they aren’t as Red as they used to be and politics isn’t worth crying over. By some guns and a lot of bullets and if anyone tries to take away you God given American freedom put a few rounds into them and prepare to live with the consequences.

Be if good cheer. It is always darkest before the dawn. Do not believe the lies of the left. They are deceivers and they are evil. Do not give in to the delusions of those who would kill you if they had the chance.

Put your faith in God. Keep your powder dry. Don’t shoot till you see the whites of their eyes.

We can all help to get this jerk out of the WH. The only thing required for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing

You are making conclusions that are incorrect.

You are assuming that the thought stream flowing through your head is 100% gospel when you could not be further from the truth. Your critical thinking is very weak. To give you a perspective, look at how the American soldiers used Tokyo Rose during the Second World War. Tokyo Rose was a broadcast coming form Japan which was designed to demoralize the troops. The troops purposely listened to read through the lines to determine what the Japanese were really afraid of. This is how you must learn to read the MSM. They are revealing their worst fears.

Consider this. Drudge has daily traffic stats that are almost 3 times the viewership of the three news networks. What does that tell you? I always go to Drudge not to view his news but to look at his traffic stats which are most days in the 37 million range. Put that number in perspective. 37 million per day or 1 billion viewers per month.

See this article. What’s with all these polls http://www.teapartytribune.com/2012/09/22/whats-with-these-polls-romney-51-8-obama-44-r52-o45-r54-o44-r51-o44-r50-o45/

Grow a spine like the GIs during the Second World War.They were assaulted by daily depressing propaganda and they learned how to overcome it. They had it 100 times worse than you did. If they can do it under their cruel circumstances, you need to toughen up and resist like they did. Start doing your part and pulling the wagon to victory. Do you ever see Democrats whining like you do saying they have lost even though they are losing? Never. The odds are that right now Romney has won.

During the Tet offensive in Vietnam the American forces were winning but the MSM told us we had lost and Americans like you bought into it and gave up the victory and sheepishly accepted defeat. Even a North Vietnamese general wrote a book saying this later on. He was blown away the American troops just gave up when they were winning. This only happened because the MSM conned Americans into surrendering like you are doing now. This is the same thing all over again. If we lose it will be because people like you are too weak to claim the victory and are only too happy to lose.

“Who are these so-called Americans who will re-elect this disaster we’ve had in office for almost 4 years?”

.
The Blacks, the MSM, the muslims, labor union members, large numbers of ignorant Catholics....

Remember that our strength lies in our diversity.

And there it lies, and lies, and lies....

Gosh, I really do disagree with you. I’ve felt despair in my life. I’m Bipolar. Despair is a feeling that obliterates you. It destroys. When faced with this feeling, this horrible horrible situation, it’s what I choose to do that is the sin. God does not make a feeling a sin; it’s how the sinner reacts to the feeling that is the sin. Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree. God Bless.

Your reaction is exactly what the liberal/progressive/socialist/dimocrat cabal have been working towards.

Let me tell you the one true, dark secret, about polls: they don't mean squat. There is only one poll that counts and that one occurs in early November every other year.

All polls conducted before then are designed to do two things: First, to make money for the polling companies and the news organizations that support them. Second to reduce the conservative voter turn out.

In November I invite you to join me when I vote against every liberal/progressive/socialist/dimocrat politician/candidate listed on my local ballot. let's spit in their collective eyes together!

Boy, when I posted this thread, I didn’t realize I would anger some FReepers. That was not my intention at all. I am so glad to get so many positive comments from a lot of you..I am keeping the faith! I am a Catholic,

______________________________________

The angry comments as well as the smart ass ones only serve to enforce the left’s cliche that conservatives are hate-filled people. And that’s sad. I wish more people would consider that before they decide to kick you in the rear instead of offering a hand up or even a great strongly worded pep talk. At least that’s the opinion of this soon to be Catholic. (RCIA)

This Morning’s Polls Project More Heavily Democratic Electorates Than in 2008

(from national review yesterday)

Since the question of whether the party ID within polling samples is realistic seems to be the issue of the week, let’s take a look at how these samples stack up to the 2008 exit polls.

Ohio 2008 exits: 39 percent Democrat, 31 percent Republican, 30 percent Independent.

Ohio New York Times/Quinnipiac 2012 sample: 35 percent Democrat, 26 percent Republican, 35 percent Independent.

In this sample, the partisan split is D+9 compared to D+8 four years ago, and the GOP is five percentage points smaller than in 2008.

Pennsylvania 2008 exits: 44 percent Democrat, 37 percent Republican, 18 percent Independent.

Pennsylvania New York Times/Quinnipiac 2012 sample: 39 percent Democrat, 28 percent Republican, 27 percent Independent.

Somehow a D+7 split has turned into D+11 split, and Republicans’ share of the electorate is nine percentage points less than they were four years ago.

Florida 2008 exits: 37 percent Democrat, 34 percent Republican, 29 percent Independent.

Florida New York Times/Quinnipiac 2012 sample: 36 percent Democrat, 27 percent Republican, 33 percent Independent.

Rasmussen (the most accurate pollster); the current numbers and trends in party affililation in the U.S.:

Republican 37.6 Democrat 33.3 Other 29.2 August 2012

Republican 37.0 Democrat 33.7 Other 29.3 November 2010

Republican 33.8 Democrat 41.4 Other 24.7 November 2008

---------------------------

Romney is up roughly 5%.

Feel like crying, my answer keep busy!

I think if anyone has a right to be crying it is me. I have been struggling with low paying jobs and unemployment since six months into the Obama reign. I have a family to support and it is a struggle every day. It is all Obama’s fault,no I must share the blame not being prepared for what is happening to me. I try to keep hoping I will get a break and frustrated that I don’t know how to create one on my own.

I do believe in God and hope his plan for me will reveal why I must suffer. I keep busy applying for jobs that most never get back to me on. My only real salvation comes from my writing. You may have seen some it posted here. I started by writing letters to editors to be published locally and responding to liberal lies on local newspaper message boards. I just want to in my small way get the word out that we as conservatives are not alone. There is quite an army of us just waiting for election day.

Over time I have seen more and more disparaging remarks about Obama over time. (Not only on FR) The tide changing.

So get busy, talk to people, spread the word, send letters to papers, find like minded people and do your part.

Remember 2010? The polls pointed to a squeaker and the pubs destroyed the dems.

The polls in 2010 did not point to a squeaker. No one went into election night (or for weeks/months leading up to the election) predicting anything other than a wave election for the Republicans. Even Nate Silver predicted huge GOP pick-ups.

Watch this and E-mail this to all of your Catholic friends:

I watched it, and when I was finished I noticed other video choices on the sidebar. Ended up tearing up over the Boxing Day Tsunami, then watched that 9/11 conspiracy thing. (Has anyone ever figured out the flashes on the buildings when the planes were within a few feet of contact?)

I will pass it along. Now I've got to get back to work!

This isn’t really directed at you...but at anyone who understands polling and unskewed. I went to the site and I see what’s there. But I don’t really understand how his method works...as in I don’t really understand the methodology.

My question is -—is there a link where he shows how he used his methodology w/ historical data? Like can this be used on the 2008 polls to show how unskewed predicts what the final numbers will be and then compare it to the actual numbers? I couldn’t find anything on his site that shows this. Anyone know?

If you find candidates like Mitt acceptable, then that is what we are liable to get from now on. I find such a prospect horrific.

Zero could win. We don’t know what’s in God’s plan. America has turned from God. He’s destroyed nations for less.
