Lots of flaws in that list, many of those items are only for short term storage, like the brown rice, olive oil instead of Crisco, peanut butter, wheat flour, and there are no extra bulbs to buy with led lights.

Unless you are well off financially, shelf life needs to be of concern, it seems wasteful to have to pitch out peanut butter, energy bars, and aspirin, bleach, brown rice, liquid cooking oils, and so on.

If people want a good led light for survival, then look at Fenix lights for good AA flashlights that can run for a couple of hundred hours on low settings, yet have high settings available, when needed, but be sure and pick up a couple of E01s (by Fenix) also, they use a single AAA battery and they burn with a regulated brightness throughout most of the 21 hours of the battery life, they will draw light from almost all of the already dead AAA batteries that you can find in your house, and collect from your neighbors.

Wish I would have seen your link earlier. I just bought some bulk ammo from another site that was $40 more. I have it bookmarked now!

Walmart is actively working with MSP (and how many other state's police agencies) by reporting ammunition sales to them.

That's a great way to receive an inconvenient knock on the door in the People's Republic of Maryland. Wonder if the poh-leese will accept the explanation that you bought all of those different calibers in case you needed to trade them for food or TP when the world ends.

“Move to another country.”

Already did that but for love. Now I’m trying to permanently stay. Fortunately wife see Øbama as a problem so she’s not so keen as well as 8%+ unemployement. Here it’s about 3%.

Here in rural Virginia, I purchase ammunition for cash at WalMart, Gander Mtn, etc. and no personal information is requested or given. Anonymous ammunition purchases are easy.

Getting my pistol-of-the-month is another matter. I figure that as a CCW holder, I am already in the ‘system’ so I still fill out the paperwork if nothing from a private sale is attractive that month.

These threads are an interesting barometer of the political weather. If Obama wins (which I now rate a 40% probability), ammo will go up 50% within a year - if you can buy it.

My only advice on this thread - Get. Out. Of. The. Cities. Now!

Shalom

Everything in that picture looks great, except her face.

If you’re a prepper then blur out your face, or your supplies will not last very long, once it happens.

Yeah it will because if the stuff does go down, there won’t be any computers to look up this stuff.
The problem comes if you have to leave. 90% of the scenarios, you will not but there is always one.

Is that the .25 or the .22 version? Is it a workout to pump? I broke a sweat sighting the Gamo. The price of the Benjamin-Trail .25 is much better.

I wish I had found them earlier, too. Also, the fastest shipping I have seen.

Anonymous ammunition purchases are easy.

You are never anonymous at WallyWorld. The cameras are always on and they do not dispose of old records.

The advantage of Crisco, is that instead of 6 months or up to a year storage with oil, Crisco will last for many years in cool storage, I have seen claims of good, 10 year old Crisco.

IF you open the bag of brown rice and sniff you will find that it has gone rancid.

Get James Hubbard’s book, Burns. It’s just $3.99 as an ebook on Amazon and is worth every penny. He recommends using honey as a burn treatment if you don’t have anything else.
