Let's get it started in here.
The Romney team may not have thought of everything. What are some important things you think Mitt should get across?
I'll start. First off, we are in enemy territory with these moderators always. So Mitt needs to answer his own questions FIRST, and spend a few seconds at the end of his response to truly slap an answer down to the idiot question actually asked.
Mitt needs - NEEDS!- to get the word SOCIALIST or SOCIALISM in there. He doesn't need to call Obama one, but he needs to say something like "controlling and denigrating the means of production, punishing ingenuity and hard work, trying to be Santa Claus with other people's money -- that is SOCIALISM and every country that has gone that way has failed." He can also contrast capitalism where hard work and ingenuity is rewarded, where families and charities are responsible for voluntarily helping people in hard places, not government creating a class of people who stay dependent and don't achieve their potential. Um, say it better and more concise than I just did...
Stay away from the defensive. I am SURE Obama wants to get you, Romney, on the ropes, because you get visibly flustered and angry when hit with an accusation. Try not to respond to defend yourself, rather HIT HIM RIGHT BACK with a worse accusation. If you can, MAKE IT FUNNY. MAKE IT MOCKING. He will not be expected to be Alinsky'ed himself. " He sends you to the hospital, send him to the morgue." (Secret service, that is a movie quote and no threat meant against anyone.).
Example: Moderator: "Is it true, Governor, that you..." Mitt: "A far more pressing issue right now is .....[hit him hard, mockingly so] ... But in answer to your original question, I absolutely did do ... And here is why." Strongly and confidently.

Remember the tough questions he got at the Telemundo debate?..Obama was flustered...

I gave up on the debates the moment I saw the list of moderators. I decided not to watch them the next moment, when I realized Romney, the lamb being led to the slaughter, didn’t protest.
He said that Mitt should go straight at Obama, and IGNORE the moderator
We agree. Mostly ignore the moderator, give his question lip service at the end of your reply only. Say what you want to say about the subject or even slap on a new subject.
Get Obama on the ropes!
Ask Obama questions about things he has done! He will not answer them but the public will see. Like “I’ve wondered why the President chose to...”
Gas prices, heating oil prices, food prices, unemployment, lack of savings, no money for bills....
Make it about personal problems due to Obama and his anti-energy, anti-business anti-growth actions not theoretical political wonk.
Go for BLOOD!!!
Dont stop with the truth of how BAD Obammy has been.
Muslim apeaser. Social engineer. Economic disaster. Sasquatch for a wife. EVERYTHING!!!

I suggest he watch Reagan debate(s). If Mitt can channel Ronaldus Magnus while slapping Bammy with facts about his lousy record, he could mop the floor w/Bam.
Do NOT debate 0bama on his home field. Ignore the moderator. Turn every answer into a litany of economic failures, spiraling debt and economic malaise. Dump it at the feet of 0bama. Make new points and reveal initiatives that force 0bama to think on his feet, which he cannot do.
Romney should ask Obama “Mr President, do you favor Capitalism or Socialism?” Simple question, I want to see what Obama says..and if he squirms around the issue saying that the rich need to pay their “Fair share” nonsense, Romney needs to say “Mr President, can you for once in your life just tell the truth, why do you have to skirt around the issue, just tell the American people, do you favor Capitalism or Socialism, its a simple question” and see what happens

He can also show an example of a country that stuck to capitalism when all around it went socialist, and how that worked out for them. Switzerland.

Bill O’reily and a group were debating this very same thing the other day on Fox.
At one point they all agreed that you can’t disrespect Obama.
What I want to know is why the h*ll not??
What has he done to deserve respect?

China’s not missing. They’re approx. 27th in global competitiveness and edging upward.. GC is a problem for them due to state-owned industry.. This probably also explains why the U.S. has fallen from #1 to #7 under 0bama.
