I was watching this documentary with my wife tonight and kept seeing Progressive women being interviewed about the plight of women around the world. First, I should say that there is truly many sad circumstances for women around the World. Very sickening and shameful. (Fascinating how many live in muslim countries.)

Secondly, I kept hearing a book referenced, titled: "Half the Sky", written by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. I decided to research that phrase, "half the sky", and found it attributed to one of the Left's favorite historical figures, Mao Tse Tung. Communist, wasn't he???

Anyway, I thought I would share this in hopes that others can provide more insight to this organization.

Again, truly shameful what happens to women elsewhere around the world. The women here in the Western world should not complain about how they have no rights here!

I’m sorry. I was done after the first paragraph.

I can’t stand when an important issue is marketed to me. It’s insulting.

Mao Tse Tung. Communist, wasn't he??? ...well, yeah - and he murdered about 40 million of his countrymen trying to make them fit into his vision of paradise on earth - but that sometimes happens when people who think they're morally and intellectually superior to all those around them set out to save the world......
I find PBS unwatchable anymore - if you're not particularly interested in the black/hispanic/inner city/immigrant/thirdworld agenda, forget it.......
