So is that your reason to give the liberals and o another term?
Guess you now have your reason to vote for o again?
Glad you got something out of your expenditure of time tonight.

I don't mean to pee on the parade of all the Mitt fans here. But did anybody else notice how Romney threw the Tea Party and conservatives in general under the bus tonight. He has disavowed every conservative position he has ever PRETENDED to take.

One of two guys will win in November. That's a fact. You really should vote for Obama. That way you can say, truthfully, you didn't vote for a liberal pretender.

I don't know if this nation can survive what Washingtonians have done to us in my life. I do know there is no hope if Obama wins. I'll take a chance on Romney.

If he will repeal Obamacare and save the greatest healthcare system IN THE WORLD; if he’ll open our energy resources and kickstart the economy; if he’ll defend our freedom from would-be-tyrants like Obama then I’ll be thrilled.

If he only stops Obama, I’ll be thrilled.

English isn’t your first language? For one thing...Romney said...”I like coal.” And, I will defund PBS...or something to that effect. Get over yourself.

Romney is the first Republican I’ve seen kick off on Obama’s ass...so, hey, maybe he is a kick ass and take names conservative.

Huge beat down, tonight.

Shortly after the O care was signed I remember seeing that EVERY citizen could be given a PPO plan for less cost and NO massive government bureaucracy.

I am not sure if that is true or not, but it makes sense. It was all about the government getting involved.

Government=Union jobs and that is what it is really all about.

Of course you are right. Mitt is a RINO.
I will be a Mitt voter, with no enthusiasm. He is simply the lesser of two evils.

Twelve years ago I had hopes for George W. Bush. I have no complaints about the goals regards the Middle East. On the domestic front, all he did was to increase the entitlement mentality and exclude millions from paying income taxes.

Now Obammie tells us that he has reduced taxes (no SS payments) but will save SS. Except his threat was to not send out checks unless the debt ceiling was raised. If he is in charge of the Trust Fund, get him off the board.

Romney will be a slightly more efficient steward of the “kick the can down the road” system we have now. O’Bangye will have bankruptcy in five years.

Well, N00B, put that keyboard down and go take some valium.

I did not watch the debate live, but I have heard enough to hear Mitt say that he will start eliminating any and all programs that are not important enough to fund by borrowing more national debt money from China.

Yes, the government revenues are enough to fund essential national needs if we eliminate all funding of domestic and international parasites.

All it takes is the decision to actual debate and examine our national path on CSPAN, like the Manchurian Candidate suggested and promptly forgot.

Having the 'Rat party unilaterally dump the country into the bankrupt pit behind locked doors will no longer be tolerated!

Has any other GOP presidential candidate said he’s going to kill off PBS and Big Bird in a critical debate? And done it with determination and a smile? That was a bold conservative hit.

And part of the reason this beat down occurred tonight was because Mitt would simply concede certain things to Obama like some level of financial regulation, etc. That completely flustered Obama. Obama thought he was debating the Romney that Barack saw in Barack’s TV commercials.

Romney did not hit Obammie nearly as hard as he could have.

Obama said he was proud that the Healthcare bill is called Obama Care.
Romeny should have said “Yes, I know you are. Another example of how you are out of touch with the 75% of Americans who want it repealed.” “I know you did not read it before it passed as sections were inserted after the vote. However, did you read the 2600 pages before you signed it and recognize those tax increases that you had promised to veto?”

On the Middle Class tax cuts.
“You count as a tax cut the reduction of payments into the SS Trust fund. How can someone reduce the retirement contribution and not have a reduction in benefits? Which chinaman making $5 a day will you borrow it from?”

However, once in office, he can enact legislation that will pull the country towards the right, and the people will support him once they start benefitting from a more conservative platform.

He could but he won't. He will go further left.

But the idea that Romney didn’t stake out any conservative positions in the debate is absurd: he invoked the 10th Amendment to drive a wedge of distinction between Romneycare and Obamacare (I hope when the two VP candidates debate Ryan will invoke the Latin church’s notion of subsidiarity to do the same)”

OBAMACARE IS A HUGE ISSUE AND A BIG WINNER on so many conservative fronts:
- spending
- taxes
- control of people’s lives
- federalism
and ...
... religious freedom

EVERYTHING we care about as conservatives is attacked by Obamacare.

And guess what. Romney picked Obamacare apart like a lumberjack splitting wood.

“If you’re upset about Romney’s invoking the need for regulation to keep markets functioning”

It would be insane for a presidential candidate to try to make an argument on the MOST favorable ground for the leftist President - defending a strawman argument of Obama’s.

Obama attacked several strawmen and Romney finessed and swatted away them all. Good for him. Romney HAS to get out from the plutocrat image and he did a good job doing that.

” He kicked Obama’s socialist ass to the curb. “

Absolutely!

And if he does that in November, he will have saved America!
