Yes, I listened to the Storm and remember the theme, as I don’t recall a note of Adele’s song.

Adele is very good, and this song sounds like a Bond song should.

But Shirley Bassey singing “Diamonds Are Forever” is still the best Bond song, IMHO.

I’ve been meaning to get back to you on this as I haven’t posted in awhile. I watched the youtube and listened to the Skyfall theme and have to say I wasn’t impressed with it.

In my mind it doesn’t compare to many of the Bond songs but I realize I don’t hear it as you do. I was disappointed.

I like it because it is more orchestral and restrained, yet she does have the range to sing it. The brass and piano work well together It really sets a fatalistic mood, very theatrical.

I am wondering if the film is as a good as the theme.
