Family Fears Missing Indiana Priest in Danger, Possibly Dead in Greece

An Indiana priest has disappeared in Greece, and his family tells Fox59 News that they believe he’s in serious danger or maybe even dead.

"He told my dad on Monday, ‘If you don't hear from me in 12 to 24 hours, I'm dead,'” said Nadia Charcap, Father Kappes’ sister.

"He told me if he left the embassy, they're watching him, they're there, 'they're going to take me,'” Virgil Kappas said. “And the Embassy did nothing."

Yep, Hillary Clinton sure is doing a bang-up job at the State Dept.

This is an extremely bizarre story.

I suspect that this article reflects only 10% of the reality of the situation.

Several decades back home in Indiana two friend's had a brother who was an RC priest working in some sort of mission work with the Coptic church in Ethiopia.

Mengistu and the commies took power and he went into hiding for something like 6 months ~ totally out of touch ~ and finally a letter came where he described his adventures ~ which were incredible. As I recall he was never out of the hands of other church people who kept him on the run ~ even hid in holes in the ground.

He subsequently returned to serve in Indianapolis.

Remember, Father Kappes went to the church ~ whatever else he did was seperate and apart from that action so he could be safe, on the run, or just all sorts of things. He's likely not alone.
