Just maybe those Jersey City parents would rather THEY provide breakfast for THEIR kids, NOT some “gov’t. largesse”,
funded by their neighbors’ taxes!
Maybe they are doing the “responsible” thing. Ya think??
Some are, no doubt.
...but parents don’t seem interested. The program starts at 8 a.m., 30 minutes before the school day officially begins.
But this little blurb pretty much proves out that deadbeat parents will not go out of their way for their kids, even when it's free. "Wha?? Ya mean, I gotta take Junior to school myself, a whole half-hour early? Shiiii.... he can last a day (or 5) without breakfast!"
