Bing’s is one of the best all-time voices ever, smooth as silk. He’s right up there with my top 2 favorite singers, next to Nat.

Doc, it’s the greatest! The danger is in driving down our beach highway, because it’s so hard not to stare at the lovely cars and trucks in traffic when you’re driving! At least they gather at the old V.A. property, so you can walk around and see them all.
The famous 1950s and 60s musicians who are still touring also come and perform at the casinos all week. It’s a huge coastal block party.

The voice you know didn't get developed until Bing had throat polyps as a young man. The version I heard was the doctors wanted to operate but he no. His throat healed naturally but it deepened his voice and developed the Bing sound.

I saw a blurb about throat nodules and his refusal to have an operation. It worked marvelously! :-)
