Hey
Something really cool happened last week, and I had to share with you.
You probably know that one of our top priorities this year is registering as many new voters as possible. This past Thursday, supporters down in Florida really stepped up, registering over 10,000 voters. In a single day. I'm not sure if that's a record, but it's definitely amazing.
Florida is just one example -- and it wouldn't have been possible without folks from neighboring states pitching in to help. Every day, supporters are getting involved in this campaign -- whether it's registering voters, making calls, knocking on doors, or participating in one of a million other ways.
This Saturday, your neighbors in New Haven are continuing that work by knocking on doors in nearby battleground states, asking voters to support President Obama. It's critical work -- can you join them?
Yes, I'll be there!
No, I can't make it, but I'll help by signing up for Dashboard, the campaign's online field office.
What: Knock on doors in a battleground state
Where: New Haven, CT 06510
When: Saturday, October 13th Shifts start at 7:45 am
Or find other events near you.
I am constantly in awe of the energy and enthusiasm of the folks who have stepped up to own this campaign. I hope you can make it to the canvass this Saturday -- there are just 30 days left.

I was in Northern NJ a few days ago and saw Romney signs. :)
Yeah, but Stalin was more moderate than Obozo.
Obama HAS been running ads in Connecticut.
There are four reasons why Connecticut is in play this year:
1. We have a very competetive Senate race, with the RINO just slightly in the lead of the DEM. This will assure heavy turnout by the GOP in CT.
2. Connecticut is heavily Catholic. Practicing Catholics are heavily GOP, non-practicing Catholics are heavily DEM. Practicing Catholics are very angry at Obamacare and they will come out in big numbers to vote against Obama.
3. Connecticut has a lot of insurance workers. They lean DEM, but are very worried about Obamacare and will vote against Obamacare.
4. Connecticut has a lot of defense companies (subs, jet engines, helicopters). All will suffer layoffs because of sequestration. Many will blame the administration.
