All 50 states and almost 3000 cities and counties across the United States have issued a proclamation declaring May 1st Silver Star Service Banner Day. A day to honor our wounded, ill, injured and dying Armed Force members or veterans.
Both Housed passed a Resolution making the day permanent and they did so in a by partisan manner.
However, our President has not done so. For the last three years we have tried to no avail. (And hopefully it will be another President come next May)
