For Ohio that IS the middle of nowhere. Ohio is a large population state with over eleven Million people. People from Dayton generally DO NOT drive sixty + miles to go to a political rally. Same with Lima.

It is a smaller county, certainly in the smaller half of the populations of Counties in the state. However, it is on the I-75 Corridor. that makes it within reasonable distance to several other areas. Noe the less, it is an impressive turn out for a county of less than fifty thousand TOTAL population and less than 24,000 people voted in this county in 2008.

It is an impressive showing and I believe it bodes well for the Romney campaign.

I am not trying to put down the turnout. It was a very good showing.

I grew up in Ohio, since then I’ve lived in Texas, Alaska and Yemen.

If you are looking for the middle of nowhere, you won’t find it in Ohio.

It was an impressive showing and it does bode well for the Romney campaagn.
