Tonight is going to be strike 2 for the Obama re-election bid. I have no concerns about Ryan. He will do well, and millions of Americans will be impressed by him.
Biden (barring a big gaffe) will do well. Much better than Obama. And the media will run out to tell use Biden won and turned the Obama campaign around. or at least it was a draw.
However, by next weeks, the polls will show a different story. Romney will continue to march up the polls. And Ryan’s favorabilities will grow as well. Ryan is very competent even if you don;t agree with him on everything. People will look at him like they did Romney last week, and decide he is not the wicked sorcerer kicking granny off the cliff. And when they see how competent Ryan is, this will transfer to Romney, as it reflects on his decision to pick Ryan.
Remember Ryan as the main one who threw cold hard facts into the stunned faces of Obama and Biden at the Obamacare summit where Obama thought he could just steamroll everyone with his own bloviating rhetoric.

He doesn't strike me as an arrogant SOB like Hussein.
It seems that everyone is expecting Biden to do so bad and Ryan to do so good, that I’m worried that it won’t turn out that way at all.
I hope Paul Ryan is reading this thread ten minutes before the debate (as if) ... the only way to lose is to announce the invasion of the Sudetenland, immediate Mormon theocracy for January 2013, or any kind of new tax.

That said, Ryan was pathetic had plenty of chances to nail Biden and he blew the gains that Romney made.
