Very much agreed; they will never overturn Roe v. Wade for the simple fact that as long as it stands the Supreme Court can point to it as precedent *spit* that they can not only invalidate the duly passed laws of the states [making the 10th Amendment of no effect] but craft new law out of whole cloth.
Furthermore, when the "mother's health" is cited as an acceptable exception to "abortion is wrong" what is invariably meant is that it is ok if the mother is merely inconvenienced.
This has to be a factor in the national subconcious of two generations of young people.
Thus we have the rape exception to "abortion ought to be considered murder" -- why would you condemn someone to death who has absolutely nothing to do with the act by which they were conceived? It is not only murder, but murder of the provably innocent considered, for the wrongdoings of their parent!? Utterly sickening.
you know, every time they post a sympathetic story like this on line, there is a danger of “copycat” suicides.
Mom is too busy either working to keep up a lifestyle or their social activities are more important than their kids...Kids are monsters unless raised by parents... The teens of today are being raised by the “ME” generation...
Like my dad told me when I was a teen, I made the comment I was tough and mean (mouthy teen) He said NO be tough, but don’t ever be mean....they are 2 different things...today they all seem mean...
Thanks for the heads up.
I most definitely won't watch it.
I will never walk in those mocassins, but man! It must be brutal being a teenage girl.
poor thing...good lord
i always hated seeing kids suffer...that made third world living tough...don’t think I could do it again
i was never ever a bully..being big I took up for the weak
got my ass handed to me some too...and even unappreciated sometimes by the weak or women i defended
such is life...it’s honor not reward
anyhow..poor girl
i bet someone in her life had already killed themself..makes folks think it’s more ok
well then my wife is a Satanic priestess (i just knew it)
Our daughter came home crying many days after enduring teasing. She was wearing a bra in middle school and the boys were snapping her straps on a daily basis. She lived through it and is a very normal person.
What?? White kids don't do this stuff? Btw one kid was black the other are all white, many honor roll, outstanding students(never in trouble before) and not "roid heads" as one poster said..they are mostly all kids from very well to do families ...and no one expected this sort of thing...small town school, very religious area.
A female poster on FR works at the school and knows all the kids..she saw the twitter pics of the guys carrying the unconcious girl out of the party by her hands an feet and being thrown in the trunk of the car and other pics.. The whole thing was photographed and videotaped..it was placed on youtube under the title 'The Song of the Night is Rape" and passed around via facebook and twitter (deleted right after of course but it went viral). Afterwards they sent a pic of the girl on the ground covered in let's say "body fluids" and they told the dad where the girl was and the dad had to drive to the location and picked up his daughter and drove her to the hospital. I can't imagine a father having to do that..
The worst comments were by other girls..these are just a few of the many..think they would stick up for her.
That is totally inappropriate dress for a child. The parents were off the wall not to notice serious problems there.
So kid had “Look at me, I’m a floozy” problems and her disgusting classmates honed in on the scent of blood as teens often do to rejects. Her parents were out to lunch and were probably more directly involved in her downfall.
My guess is that she was sexually abused by an adult in her life. That dress and pose for a fifteen year old, is screaming out from the grave.
Wow. Just awful. I cannot type what I hope happens to the kids who did this to her. They are just evil.
Evil. If someone did anything close to that to one of my daughters I would kill them all and dare anyone to convict me of it.
Even though I am going to vote for Scott Brown, I was really turned off by his ads stating that he is really pro-choice and supports women’s health, as if abortion is about health. As a mother and a grandmother, it really makes me sick to see women “supporting a woman’s right to choose”. Can’t they hear the Madison Avenue slickness of that slogan “a woman’s right to choose”? We are the ones who feel the first flutterings of human life within us and we are the ones who should know more than anyone how truly precious a baby is even at his/hers early stages of life.
