This is sad. It is an unfortunate and unnecessary loss of a young life. I fear for our society. What in the he77 possesses todays youth to think that it is acceptable to take things to this level? Sure, there have always been bullies, but it seems as if there is competition to see who can be the most deranged among today’s youth. Parents, churches, synagogues, and everyone involved with youth need to get a handle on morals and self-respect lest we slide further into this abyss.

I can’t understand it, either. When I was a kid in the 70s, there was no shortage of bullied, unpopular kids. Not a single one of them ever committed suicide, yet today it’s nothing unusual.

Poor girl....rest in peace.

Lack of accountability. If parents or teachers try to actually take concrete steps to discipline youth, then its “abuse” and even the half-a** measures commonly resorted to in this pathetic era are frowned on as “damaging to their self-esteem.”
