Delphi technique is pointing a meeting to a particular goal or conclusion without letting them consider alternatives. Like a dam bursting, push the meeting to your destination, leaving opponents stunned, or dragged along.

To disrupt it, remain calm, stay on point, don't rise to the bait.
Then find them in the parking lot and throw dog poop on their shoes.

Looks like Ryan knew what to expect. Didn't take the bait.
I thought Ryan handled himself presidentially. Biden was so annoying I had to mute whenever he spoke.

This technique has been used frequently in the public schools when dealing with parents who are objecting to some radical policy. It is especially useful when there is a controversy. The officials give the appearance of “listening” to the outrage, but when everything is over, nothing changes.
