CROOKSTON, Minn. A North Dakota sheriff's deputy has been charged in a break-in at a Minnesota convenience store.
Police say Adam Koenig, 22, of Park River, N.D., was found lying behind the till of a Holiday gas station in Crookston early Thursday morning. They were responding to a report of a suspicious person with blood on his face outside the station, and arrived to find a glass door smashed in.
Police say Koenig was wearing a badge on his belt and identified himself as a Walsh County, N.D., sheriff's deputy, the Grand Forks Herald reported (http://bit.ly/R45wwq ).
Koenig was charged with burglary and criminal damage to property, and was in the Polk County jail on Friday. His attorney didn't immediately return a message from The Associated Press seeking comment.
Ah, I understand.
The sheriff was a liberal democrat.
I suppose he was just committing the burglary law-abiding Americans wouldn’t commit.
He’s training to be a big city cop.

Is that you, Ed Schultz?
He was out of doughnuts.
