Does anyone actually think we'll see an Obama poll surge post-debate?
Greta

Posted on 10/17/2012 9:10:59 PM PDT by HawkHogan

On Greta, one of the guests on her panel, Rick Klein, predicted a post-debate surge for Obama in the polls?

Does anyone actually believe that's going to happen?

This panel seems to think that it's still an uphill panel for Romney, even with polls like Gallup showing him with a 6 point lead.

I tend to side with Dick Morris on this issue. I feel that this election is going to be a landslide, with some surprising states like Pennsylvania (my own home state) going to Romney.

Is it foolish to be so confident about this election? Most of the pundits, albeit the biased ones, still think Obama comes out on top.

All the pollsters have to do is tweak the numbers...have 15% more Democrats than Republicans and they can show a bump for Obama.

Too early for a bounce if any is coming. Tomorrow am at the earliest, or more likely within the next week.

I doubt there will be one on Rasmussen, but some of the others work for pay and may give their masters something.
Quinnipac maybe.

I’m feeling the same way as most of you. I really don’t understand how these media types are so confident about Obama.

I also don’t understand why CNN kept stressing that their debate poll was oversampling Republicans... do these media types really expect a 2008 turnout model?

I still have hope and faith that Republicans/Democrats break even, especially in swing states, and it’s a Romney landslide.

I’m just trying to eliminate all nervousness before the election. I’m a young conservative, and I just my future job hops greatly diminished with an Obama win.

...if theulstermanreport is not a hoax, then Obama will win. It is being said at the ulsterman site that Obama bombing or doing a drone strike is imminent.

Bombing an aspirin factory, ala Bill Clinton, won't help Bozo at this late stage of the game. Nothing short of total victory in a real conflict could possibly help him now, and Atila's invasion forces are not cooperating.

I sure hope you are right. I get nauseous and terribly depressed when I think about the possibility of another 4 with Obama and that freaking wife of his.

We shouldn’t trust anything we read until we see confirmation from an ally.. These late polls could be the pollster trying to cover their a$$, or a head fake to show a Obamster as the Comeback Kid, building momentum to the finish line..

They’re not going to go down without a fight, or a backup plan.. This is just the beginning of their stretch run to the planned finish..

Don’t be surprised at anything they say as we get closer to the end, especially if Romney starts to surge..

I doubt it... considering the polls also showed Romney as winning on the issues.

There was an older woman who spoke up during the Luntz Las Vegas focus group... who basically explained who these new female voters were.

They were women who had voted for Obama in 08, but had already decided not to support him in November. However.... They had not yet decided whether or not they would vote for Romney, ie. whether they would vote at all.

The Disaster lost another point in the Gallup so it is not looking good for him.

I’m confused. Does The Disaster’s ass smell like a goat? Or is he smelling goats’ asses. We have to get this straight. Goat sniffing or goat scented?

These poll have been great for a month because when they were examined in detail they actually showed Romney to be cruising to victory. Now they are hiding the internals so we can’t tell who is being sampled.

I suspect that they are still oversampling Ds and Women so what we are seeing is a disaster for The Disaster.

If that focus group by Luntz which Hannity is predictive this is going to be a landslide approaching tsunami.

If you can watch it, it’ll make you feel great.

After the next debate The Disaster is going to drop even more. His ass is totally on the line with Libya and Fast and Furious and Romney is going to hand it to him BIG TIME.

The Bubble has popped.

Greta’s panel is terrible.

I don't know where she gets these boys from. Even she got on my last nerve last night saying it wasn't a big deal that michelle clapped during the debate. She broke protocol. This is a high stakes election. Greta and O'Reilly tend to go overboard playing devil's advocate. Sometimes you just have to go with..... if it walks like duck....

One thing American history should teach us is that we have survived a lot of lunacy in the past. Heck, we tried to commit national suicide at one time killing what would be millions in today’s population.
