Devastating!! Though I worry Romney was playing a bit too rough.
The applause proved that Romney won this crowd and deservedly so, both on laughter and merit.
He delivered his lines with precision.

Just a hunch, but I doubt Axelrod & Co. are going to reference Big Bird again. LOL!!

I think you're right. Miller was traveling with Romney just a day or two ago -- this was probably why.
Yeah, but he's in a room full of Catholics who take their faith seriously enough to shell out 2500 bucks a plate. The crowd is probably heavily anti-Obama. My favorite point of the evening is where Katie Couric had to give Romney a standing ovation for Catholic Charities work for the "innocent child waiting to be born."
And that's not to say Romney wasn't fantastic, I just don't think 0 was as bad as he's being made out to be - his lines fell flat more because people in the audience detest him than his delivery was inferior to Romney's. It was, but the crowd was just not that receptive to him.
Yeah; “Bindergate”. Another “small thing” Obama referenced when he said “If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things.”
He doesn’t have a record to run on, so it’s Bindergate, Big Bird, dogs on roofs, etc. How about mentioning something pithy, Hussein?
It's a pretty sad message for obama when his own wife won't support him at an event like this.
These are not "if you want to" types of gatherings, it was her duty as first lady and moreso as his wife.
