I don’t claim to know how it’s done beyond my county in Northern Virginia. I just know that at the end of the day we do count and recount; we check continuously throughout the day on how many voters checked in and how many votes have been cast.

There is no question about plenty of corruption around the country. A good start to cleaning up all that corruption would be if good people like FReepers ran for local and state offices and eventually controlled committees that oversaw how elections in the various states are handled.

Have you ever heard of them 'testing' anything else, prior to broadcasting it ?

The 'excuse' of running a test just seems like something that went away with modern digital technology.

Isn't this 'technique' fairly well tested and reliable?

I was watching the football game, and they have things like THE SCORE, the DOWN, the TIME, all on screen during the game, and I haven't seen it not work yet.

Fact is election officials here put in 16 hour days for very little $$$. I have no idea how long the coming election day will be. Could be longer. But no one gets out of that room until everything is reconciled. At least within my experience, everyone takes their responsibilities VERY seriously, both D’s and R’s. I can’t speak to other jurisdictions.

What bothers me about these so called dry run election tests by these Main Stream Liberal Media affiliates is that ?

In this election year the UN will be monitoring our election for any voter suppression and they could use this as a case of voter suppression.

Please get this to Rush, Drudge, all the new media that the left has started working in their voter fraud scheme.

If there’s only one station, your paranoid argument might be right. Besides, even if there’s some conspiracy, why would they do it on the end side of the link? Wouldn’t it be much easier to do it on the machines side? Sorry, there are many things to be concerned, including the possibility of cheating, but this is not the proof.
