The 'electoral map' that is giving Obama over 270 electoral votes is nonsense.
And the national Gallup poll has Romney up by 5-6pts which will translate into an electoral vote win.
So, no one is being 'overconfident', the trend is clearly towards Romney, Obama can't crack 50% in most of the swing States.

Don't waste your time ‘arguing’ with this individual. Liberalism and socialism are intellectually vapid concepts that have a very poor historical track record. So, if this person is an Obama supporter they obviously have serious deficiencies in their understanding of the world, or they are driven by resentment - like so many inappropriately termed ‘progressives’. I've never met a liberal who had an intellectually defensible world view.

The momentum is definitely with Romney. NH just went leans Romney. This is significant because Obama is outspending Romney 5 to 1 in NH. Also 6 to 1 in visits.
Right now it’s a dead heat. If Romney’s mo continues it could be a blowout. If the mo stops it’ll be a nail-biter.
